Safe Room Rebate Program
The City of Norman‘s application period for the Safe Room Rebate program will end today, Monday the 26th of September , 2011 at 5:00 p.m. “There has been an outstanding response for the program” indicated Chief Fullingim, Norman’s Emergency Management Director.
The next step in the process is to validate the data on the applications and to prepare for the random drawing. The random drawing will be conducted late October or early November. Those selected in the drawing will be notified by mail and will be included in the City of Norman’s application for the program and submitted to the State of Oklahoma through the Hazard Mitigation Division of the State Office of Emergency Management.
